I think it’s the most inspiring thing to see how much artists develop over the years. Art is such a progressive field, and you are constantly gaining more experience and working on your skills. For me to see how people I look up to in the first place, and admire, are still developing their work themselves; it just gives me so much more hope that my work will some day get better, and that this isn’t my “prime” or “the best it will ever get” because with art, you will never have learnt or practiced enough.
Thankyou so much for displaying your work throughout the years and letting people like me look at it and analyse it to learn about techniques and styles; to see what works and what perhaps doesn’t. To allow us to try out our skills and techniques by working off inspiration we have gained from simply looking at your work.
Oh I never did post the finished piece of this, did I? This was for my Junior Illustration class, based on an article called The Upside of Being an Introvert. Parties are fun, but sitting at home by yourself is also fun!
