I love how people say Tangled was made in CGI because of prejudice against 2D… when it’s whole purpose was to rid the prejudice against CGI, to uncover it’s possibilities as an ART FORM and take what we know and love about 2D expression and make sure we don’t lose it in CGI.

P.S. People shouldn’t hate CGI if only to be thankful for Carpet from Aladdin!  The reason his gorgeous design/embroidery could be so detailed and follow all his movements is because it was superimposed onto his 2D animated shape through CGI.  BAM.
